Family Movers Serving Ranson, WV
I’m Dale Lawrence, and my family has run Lawrence & Family Movers out of Martinsburg since 2009. Ranson sits right alongside Charles Town in Jefferson County — the two run together so closely that locals cross the line without noticing. For my crew it’s one easy service area, a clean run east on WV-9.
Planning a move in this part of the Eastern Panhandle? Lawrence & Family Movers is on these lanes, ridges, and downtown blocks week after week, family-run since 2009.
Old Town Meets New Construction
Ranson has its own character. There’s the established older grid near the center of town, and then there’s the newer side — townhomes and subdivisions that have filled in as the Eastern Panhandle has grown with DC-commuter families. We move both, and we plan for the differences: tighter turns and shared driveways in the new developments, narrower doorways and porches in the older neighborhoods. Either way the crew shows up uniformed and the truck shows up sized to the street.
- Established older neighborhoods near central Ranson
- Townhomes and newer subdivisions on the growing edge
- Shared driveways and tight turns we plan around
- Combined Ranson and Charles Town service in one trip
A Real Family Company
We’re licensed and insured with WV moving authority plus US DOT and MC authority on file, we run our own trucks, and every mover is a background-checked W-2 hire in our shirt. Wade keeps the schedule straight, my sons lead the crews, and Brenda writes your flat rate before we load. No surprises on moving day.
Flat-Rate Ranson Moving
Book two of our crew with a truck at $135/hr, or a single flat rate set in writing before we load
Our family already runs the gravel lanes, the long farmhouse driveways, the older downtown stairs and the porches throughout Ranson.
